Meet Amanda

Hi! I’m Amanda, and I’m paper-obsessed in the very best way. With a Bachelor’s in Human Development and Family Sciences and a Master’s in Criminology and Criminal Justice, I’ve spent my career understanding people - their needs, desires, and experiences - which guides the care and attention I bring to every project. I create thoughtful, memorable paper goods for life’s biggest moments that feel personal, intentional, and beautifully considered.

My love for stationery began young, from saving my allowance to buy greeting cards at various greeting card retailers to making whimsical handmade cards for friends and family. That passion grew into MandaCards, my Etsy-based greeting card business, and eventually led to designing wedding invitations and more!

The Stationery Boutique was born from a love of customer service, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a belief that high-quality invitations and paper goods should feel personal, reflective of you, and beautifully attainable. I’m passionate about creating elevated paper goods that honor each couple’s celebration- no matter the scale or style.

Based in Rhode Island, I work with couples throughout New England and nationwide.

The Details Matter

Every choice matters, from paper texture and typography to color, wording, and assembly. These details come together to create stationery that feels cohesive, elevated, and aligned with your celebration.

I know how meaningful this season is and how overwhelming it can feel to make decisions, navigate etiquette, and bring your vision to life. My goal is to make this part of the process feel calm, guided, and genuinely enjoyable, so you can feel confident from the first proof to the final piece.

Here’s what working with me looks like:

  • White-glove service with hands-on assembly and finishing

  • A one-stop shop for invitation suites, day-of paper goods, and basic signage

  • Clear, honest communication - no guessing, no surprises, and no stress

  • Bespoke design guidance, even if you’re not sure where to begin

Made for Celebrations Like Yours

I work with couples who value thoughtful, high-quality stationery and understand that invitations are more than “just paper”- they set the tone for the entire celebration.

You want your wedding or event to feel cohesive, personal, and beautifully executed, without having to figure out every detail on your own. Whether your style leans classic and elegant, playful and whimsical, or somewhere in between, I tailor each suite to reflect your vision while offering clear guidance along the way.

Every piece is hand-assembled with care, ensuring your invitation suites feel polished, personal, and truly reflective of your day.

My couples value:

  • The timeless elegance of physical wedding invitations

  • Cohesive, intentional designs that bring a vision together

  • Personalized details that make their celebration feel uniquely theirs

  • A transparent, stress-free experience with clear communication

Little Things I Love

  • The assembly process: Seeing a vision come together in its final, tangible form and having total control over quality and execution.

  • That “chef’s kiss” moment when all the details align perfectly and couples are thrilled with the final product.

  • Bringing discipline and focus to my work. I’m a first-degree black belt in karate, and I credit that training for my strong work ethic, focus, organization, and commitment to deadlines.

  • Baking and decorating layer cakes - technical and time intensive, yet extremely delicious!

  • Classic films and shows (especially anything on Turner Classic Movies -I even attended the TCM Film Festival in Hollywood a few years back!)
