Meet Amanda

Hi! I’m Amanda - the designer behind The Stationery Boutique and unapologetically paper-obsessed.

With a background in Human Development and Family Sciences and a Master’s in Criminology and Criminal Justice, my career has centered around understanding people: their needs, preferences, and experiences. That perspective shapes the way I approach every project: thoughtfully, intentionally, and with a deep appreciation for the details that make something feel personal.

I design wedding invitation suites and day-of paper goods that feel cohesive, refined, and genuinely considered—never pieced together or overlooked.

My love for stationery began young, from saving my allowance to buy greeting cards at various greeting card retailers to making whimsical handmade cards for friends and family. That passion grew into MandaCards, my Etsy-based greeting card business, and eventually led to designing wedding invitations and more!

The Stationery Boutique was built from that foundation: a love for design, an appreciation for meaningful details, and a belief that elevated paper goods should feel both personal and approachable.

Based in Rhode Island, I work with couples throughout New England and nationwide.

A More Considered Approach

Every detail plays a role, from paper texture and typography to color, wording, and assembly. Individually, they’re small decisions. Together, they create a finished suite that feels intentional, cohesive, and aligned with your celebration.

My work goes beyond the design itself. I consider how your invitations are layered, held, and experienced, so the final result feels polished from the first impression to the last piece.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • Thoughtful, collaborative and guided design from concept through final production

  • A cohesive design strategy from save the dates, to invitations and day-of paper

  • Clear, transparent communication at every step

  • Hands-on assembly and finishing for a polished final presentation

Who I Work With

I work with couples who value thoughtful design and understand that invitations set the tone for the entire celebration.

  • You want your wedding to feel cohesive, elevated, and well-considered, not pieced together from disconnected elements.

  • You appreciate details, but don’t want to be overwhelmed by decisions.

  • You’re looking for guidance, not just options.

Whether your style leans classic, romantic, or more modern, each suite is designed to feel like a natural extension of your day: refined, personal, and intentionally put together.

Little Things I Love

  • The final assembly process: When every piece comes together and a suite shifts from individual elements into a finished, cohesive presentation.

  • That “everything just works” moment: When the paper, color, typography, and details align perfectly and the final result feels complete.

  • Structure and precision: Shaped in part by my background as a first-degree black belt in karate, which taught me discipline, focus, and a deep respect for process and follow-through.

  • Baking & decorating layer cakes: Where detail, balance, and presentation matter just as much as the final result (very similar to a well-designed invitation suite).

  • Classic films and timeless aesthetics: A constant source of inspiration for composition, storytelling, and enduring style.
